The Usage Report is accessed via the My Accounts page. Account administrators have a Reports tab on their My Account page.
The Usage Report displays summary data for all licensed titles. You may enter a date range to filter the results. The report includes:
video “impressions” -- when the video is loaded into a player
“views” -- when the user starts playing the video
time viewed as h:mm:ss
percent viewed -- the overall percent of the title viewed, calculated as total time viewed / (title views x length of title)
engagement -- an indication of how much viewers are staying with the video. Engagement counts the number of views of 25% into the video, 50% into the video, 75% into the video, and 100% into the video. A user scrubbing back and forth across, say, the 50% mark would increase that number.
total impressions, views and time viewed
ratio of views:impressions -- this is another indicator of engagement: after the player loads, what percent of users actually begin to watch the film?
last view -- the date the resource was last viewed
You may also export the data as a comma-separated-values (CSV) file, suitable for using in Excel, OpenOffice, Google Docs, or other applications that can work with CSV files.
